06.07.2002, North Bethesda, MD, USA – Argosy Omnimedia, Inc. has launched a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Practice targeting commercial and federal client’s requirements for comprehensive end-to-end consulting services in the area of Business Continuity.
Argosy will provide a full range of expertise beginning with a Business Impact Assessment (BIA) that are designed to elicit, identify and evaluate the value of each IT service to an organization and understand the interdependencies of these services under multiple disaster or outage scenarios. Argosy will also provide; Security Audit and Assessment (SAA) to examine current practices and technologies and then make recommendations for improvements, security assessment services including managed probing of current electronic security protections to assess effectiveness, Business Continuation Plan (BCP) consisting of a disaster recovery plan, set of executive recommendations resulting from the BIA and SAA for overall improvements to operational availability through improved security and disaster recovery services such as off-site backup and restoral, procurement management of outsourced, managed services or COTS technologies to augment existing assets and resources for backup/restoral, implementation services encompassing outsourced services (managed services) and technology integration, customized software development, scenario testing and certification.
